Communications group Go has extended the time window on most of its Easyline cards.

New or unactivated cards will have their time-window increased; changes will apply to cards activated to make the first call or used to top up after January 1. Cards activated before this date will not benefit from the extended time windows.

The €5 Easyline card has had its time window extended from 30 to 150 days; the €10 Easyline card from 90 to 180 days and the €20 Easyline card from 180 to 300 days. The time window for the €50 online Easyline card will remain unchanged.

Meanwhile, from February 1, Easyline cards will replace the use of Telecards in all indoor and outdoor payphones operated by Go. The use of Telecards has been phased out.

Easyline is a fixed telephony prepaid service. Callers using Easyline cards can place their prepaid calls from Go fixed lines and payphones.

Easyline customers do not pay rent or receive a bill and they can instal Easyline on a new line or use it on an existing one – keeping their existing number.

The service works on a normal push-button phone. Charges for any calls are deducted from the prepaid Easyline card until the credit is used up and more credit is purchased. A residential Easyline connection must make a minimum of €88.52 worth of calls annually to continue to enjoy the Easyline service.

Information is available from Go stores, on 8007 2121 or 146 from the customer’s Go mobile, or at www.go.com.mt.
