The management and employees at Gasan Mamo Insurance are constantly on the lookout to help those in need, as the company believes that giving also connects people, creates a stronger community and helps build a happier society.

The insurance firm has supported The Foodbank at St Andrew’s by donating food items. “Donating food items is a great way of helping the community and can make a huge difference to an individual or family. Unfortunately, there are families in Malta who struggle to put enough on the table and others who cannot always get the essentials they need. Thanks to this initiative, particularly to our employees, we have managed to give a supporting hand to those in need,” said Julian Mamo, managing director at Gasan Mamo Insurance.

Foodbank is a project that Rev. Kim Hurst kicked off. With the help of the congregation, members of other churches and generous individuals, St Andrew’s Scots Church was able to form this mission. The donated food is given out to people identified by care professionals.
