Liquigas Malta believes consumers should have the right of complete choice in the gas sector and also be free to choose who delivers the cylinder to their door step.

The company, which is licensed to distribute gas cylinders, feels it is not enough that a consumer should have the right to decide whether to buy from Liquigas or its competitor.

“In Malta, consumers should be offered the choice of the service of distribution as well. This way, all consumers will have a free choice to decide from whom they want to get their gas service,” Liquigas says.

It explains that since the consumer is paying both for the respective LPG product and for the distribution service, it is only natural, fair and right for the buyer to choose not only the supplier but also the preferred distribution system, that is, whether via the gas distributors or directly from the suppliers. “Anything less than this, in today’s age, works against the gas consumer.”
