GlaxoSmithKline (Malta) Ltd is introducing a Dental Week initiative between November 5 -9 to raise awareness about the importance of taking care of one’s teeth.
A number of participating dentists will be offering free dental check-ups and information on dental health to people of all ages. Visitors will have their teeth examined and will be provided with free advice on how to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
“The GSK Dental Week campaign aims to reach out to people and help them understand the importance of regular oral care. We all know we should visit the dentist every six months, but in the absence of problems it’s easy to let those appointments slip. However, visiting the dentist regularly is one of the most important steps you can take for better overall health,” said Monica Abdilla, country manager for GSK Consumer Healthcare.
During Dental Week, participating dentists will be distributing leaflets and informative material on dental health and GSK dental products. The offer is subject to availability of appointments by the participating dental clinics.
