Inmates of Corradino, together with Dlam għad-Dawl, successfully implemented an event which has been two months in the making, a fundraising charity concert for ALS hosted at Inspire Malta.

Fahrenheit Freight Forwarders was one of five main sponsors of the event, among 50 other contributors. This event was a way for the inmates to give something in return to society. Director Paul Debattista talked about how seriously participants took this event: “They got on board of the project with great enthusiasm and no added interest apart from contibuting back towards their society.”

Fahrenheit Freight Forwarders was more than happy to sponsor an event with such a good cause in mind. Apart from supporting ALS, this is one of the many projects that allows rehabilitation for inmates back into society.

The event welcomed 15 singers, four of whom represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest, 12 musicians, nine dancers and presenters. Apart from contributing towards organising the event, the inmates also gave a hand during the entertainment programme. The audience also got to listen to two original songs written by the inmates themselves, making the event truly a concert with a difference.
