Four BOV Premier League players were handed a one-match ban yesterday.

Floriana duo Christian Caruana and Pablo Doffo were suspended after both collected their fourth yellow card in the 4-2 win over Ħamrun Spartans last weekend. They will miss Floriana’s next league match, against Marsaxlokk, in January.

Mosta midfielder Nikola Bogdanovic and Mqabba winger Marlon Briffa were also given a one-match ban for four bookings. Bogdanovic will skip Mosta’s game against Tarxien while Briffa is out of Mqabba’s match against Balzan.
