Four men have been arrested after 16 cannabis plants were found under cultivation in a field in Żebbuġ, where the men live.

The discovery was made after days of observation, the police said. The field lies in an area known as Wiċċ Ir-Raħal.

The men, who are between 18 and 40 years old, are expected to be taken to court within the next few days.
