Aġenzija Appoġġ will be holding training courses for prospective foster carers in the coming weeks.

Between January and October this year, there were 267 children in foster placements. However, there is always need for more foster carers to meet the demand.

In fact, there are currently 138 children waiting to be fostered.

The aim of fostering is to offer stability to those children who, for various reasons, cannot currently live with their natural families. Thanks to fostering, children and adolescents who are having difficulties within their biological family will have the opportunity to experience a family environment that can give them the love and security they need.
