In the wake of the two singles released earlier this year, namely Flight 170 and Vampires, Chris and Moira are all set to take their music to foreign shores.

One may argue that they’ve already done this since their songs are available on various digital music portals but, starting next month, the band will be physically exporting their music as they jet off to play a number of gigs in Germany, Spain and France.

“It all really came about from a casual talk with some friends,” the band commented. “It started out as a few gigs but has turned into a mini-tour as more dates were booked. We’ve called it Tour170, as it coincides with the launch of our new album, off which the single Flight 170 was lifted.”

The second single off the album, Vampires, was released along with a music video last month. There are also plans for another video release, which is currently in production.

“The new video will have a totally different style; it will have a more relaxed and natural feel, featuring some unique aspects of Malta and of the characters in the band itself.”

The band is planning to perform several of its original compositions, as well as a few covers on this tour, which is also characterised by its connection to education and the promotion of Malta.

“Apart from bringing our music to new audiences in different countries, the tour also has an educational aspect and aims to promote Malta as an ideal destination for European tourists during the shoulder periods.”

The band added that this connection stems from the fact that the hosting partners in each country on the tour are closely linked to education and tourism.

“We’re excited about this tour and look forward to being part of this venture.”
