More than 200kg of semolina flour and colour were used to create a picture depicting Jesus Christ walking with the cross on the way to Golgotha Hill before his crucifixion. It is part of a Holy Week exhibition, organised by the Soċjetà Filarmonika Maria Mater Gratiae of Żabbar, called Pesah. With larger-than-life figures, the painting, which has more than 120 different shades of colour, is a copy of a famous work by Spanish artist Yzquierda that can be found at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Illinois.
