Twice weekly flights will operate again between Malta and Misurata in Libya, according to the Libya Herald.

The operator is the Msida-based Four Seasons Travel.

The newspaper said the flights would be on Sundays and Wednesdays, starting from this coming Sunday. Tickets would cost in the region of €500 one way.

Attempts to contact the company yesterday proved futile.

Earlier last month, the Foreign Ministry renewed its advice against all travel to Libya following the escalation of military activity in Libya, including at Mitiga and Misurata airports.

At the time, Turkish Airlines, which was the only foreign airline still operating to Misurata, announced it was suspending flights.
