Five people were arrested on Saturday after being found in possession of drugs in Fgura and Paceville, the police said.

Mephedrone was found in a Fgura residence in the morning along with drug-related items. A 23-year-old man who lives there was arrested, the police said.

In the evening, three men and a woman were arrested in Paceville after they were allegedly found in possession of cocaine, ecstasy, and cannabis resin. They are a Maltese, a Frenchman, a Russian and a Swede.

The police are still proceeding with investigations.
