The Malta Fairs and Convention Centre was responsible for the logistics and building of a huge stage for the coronation festival held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace between July 11 and 14.

The festival, which celebrated the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, featured an exhibition showcasing more than 200 suppliers to the royal household and a stunning evening gala performance.

“The contract to design and build the stage (44 metres wide by 20 metres deep) was won against stiff competition and Right Structures (a subsidiary of MFCC) is proud to have been selected as the contractor,” project manager Edward Zammit said.

He said the organisers had complimented them on their arched roof staging design.
