There are several different Christmas workshops to get one in the festive mood. Perfect for beginners who want to try working with clay, and a good opportunity to create presents for friends and family. The workshops are a great way to have fun, get creative and begin the Christmas merriment.

Ceramics artist Sue Mifsud, who will be leading a Christmas tree decorations pottery workshop for children aged eight to 12, will give a demonstration following which participants would create and paint their own decorations under her guidance.

Their artwork will be biscuit-fired and glaze-fired by Mifsud and will be available for collection in a fortnight, just in time for Christmas. Those taking part are warned to wear washable clothes as the workshop might be a bit messy.

The workshop, against a donation of €12.50 per child, is being held at Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum in Mdina tomorrow between 10.30am and noon.
