Motorcycle mechanic at Fapi Motors, Ryan Micallef, has completed training at the KTM plant in Austria. Following the successful completion of his first training course in July entitled ‘KTM Bronze Level’, the mechanic also attended the KTM Silver and Orange Levels last month. While the Bronze Level course focused on motorcycle repair, the Silver and Orange Level courses focused on high levels of troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

These courses, a collective group of modules that qualify participants in performing tasks to the satisfaction of the KTM customer, are completely in agreement with factory procedures and specifications. These maximise the learning experience of the mechanic by providing valuable experience he can use again and again at the workshop. Given the esteemed certification that follows the completion of the three courses, mechanics are considered to be ones who are definitely ‘ready to race’, according to the brand’s slogan.
