Hundreds of fans gathered at the Eden Cinemas last week to be among the first in the world to take a peek at part one of the fourth and final instalment of The Twilight Saga.

Fans have eagerly awaited the arrival of Breaking Dawn: Part 1, which depicts protagonists Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in married bliss before it warps into an ordeal that threatens the very balance and nature of the wolf pack and vampire coven.

The public was invited an hour early to the screening which started on November 17 at precisely 00:01.

On entering the Eden Cinemas, fans were engulfed in a wedding atmosphere.

They had their make-up done by the talented Aneliya; enjoyed a live performance of the film’s soundtrack by local band Skarlet and received souvenir photos by McCarthy’s PhotoWorks.

They also signed the wedding “guestbook” and were treated to gift bags of perlini.

The idea behind the event was to make each and every audience member feel as though they were truly a part of the wedding they had all been longing to see.

They were even branded with intricately designed stamps – reflecting whether they supported “Team Edward” or “Team Jacob”, the latter referring to Taylor’s Lautner’s role as the werewolf Jacob.

Fans will now have to wait another year before Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is released in theatres worldwide on November 16, 2012.
