On Sunday August 26 during a visit to Britain I travelled by train from Edinburgh to York. The train ticket cost £77.70, which I think is ridiculous.

I am aware I was travelling on a Sunday, which might explain the high price; however I still think that £77.70 is an unreasonable cost.

Such expensive fares definitely do not help the tourism industry and do not reflect well on those responsible for it.
