Thousands of festival-goers flocked to the Exit rock and pop music festival in the Serbian City of Novi Sad.

The festival, which runs until Monday, will feature more than 150 acts, including Arcade Fire, Pulp, Grinderman, Portishead, MIA and numerous deejays such as the renowned James Zabiela, performing at 16 different stages.

The festival has been held since 2000 at the magical and beautiful old fortress overlooking the River Danube and is the biggest music festivals held in South Eastern Europe. It has won the Best Overseas Festival award in the UK Festival Awards for the past four years.

The aim of the festival is to evolve and bring like-minded people together and although it gets bigger each year, the sentiment and unique vibe remains the same.
