• A bazaar is being held at 49, Cathedral Street, Sliema, next door to Stella Maris parish centre, from Wednesday to Friday. Open all day from 9.30am.

• Maurice Said of the Anthropology Department, University of Durham, will present a paper entitled Networks of Dependency: Suicide and Shame in Southern Sri Lanka, on Wednesday from 6 to 7pm in Room D, Faculty of the Built Environment at the University. The talk, which is part of the Work in Progress in the Social Studies seminar series, will be followed by a discussion.

• Fr Martin Cilia, MSSP, and Fr Elia Vella, OFM, will lead this year’s Youth Fellowship Lenten talks on the theme Credo – What we Really Believe Matters, which aim to clarify issues of faith that relate to young adults living in today’s culture.

The talks will be held at Gattard House, Blata l-Bajda, from March 18 to 22 at 7.30pm. They will be accompanied by music, prayer, testimonials and the warm welcome of a vibrant youth community. For further information, visit www.youthfellowship.org.

• Dar Frate Jacoba in Wied iż-Żiju, Marsascala, is holding an open weekend on March 23 and 24, with opening hours on Saturday from 5 to 9pm and on Sunday  from 9am to 7pm.
