Eurosport, the sports brands distributor, has established its first online presence at www.eurosport.com.mt.

The portal features a store locator, loyalty card sign up and integration with social media. Users are able to search by collection, brand, gender and type of sport.

‘‘We sought to make sure the website projected the right image for the Eurosport brand,” managing director Tina Peresso said, adding how the Eurosport website formed part of an even larger re-branding project.

Eurosport IT manager Mario Ellul said the administration console of the website was designed to be very intuitive with a fast system response time. This was critical for Eurosport as it needed to update the product catalogue regularly, he said.

“This was actually our main concern due to our large range of products, but the new system allows us to import bulk data easily and quickly,’’ Mr Ellul said.

The website, which was developed by InFusion Solutions and designed by Switch, is fully compatible with multiple browsers and can run on any platform, including mobiles and tablets.
