Another super Sunday is on the cards as the Premier League programme includes two needle matches which promise to thrill the fans tomorrow.

Manchester United reclaimed the Premier League title and QPR and Reading have both been demoted but the top flight still has plenty to offer.

There will be more celebrations at Old Trafford as United take on Chelsea.

After being given a guard of honour at the Emirates last weekend, United came from a goal down to share the spoils with Arsenal.

The other plum fixture tomorrow is the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield.

Dutch striker Robin van Persie, booed by the Arsenal fans, denied his former team three important points in the race for Champions League football after scoring United’s equaliser from a penalty.

Wayne Rooney was substituted for the fourth time in United’s last five matches. This week, the 20-time English champions had four players named in the PFA team of the year − David de Gea, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Van Persie.

Third-placed Chelsea, through to the Europa League final, lead Arsenal by a point after their home win over Swansea.

Manager Rafa Benitez is keeping quiet on the prospect of Blues captain John Terry making an England return. Frank Lampard scored his 201st Chelsea goal in the win over Swansea to move within one goal of equalling the club’s all-time record.

Despite being suspended for 10 matches for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic, Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was still picked in the PFA team of the year.

Without striker Suarez, Liverpool still hit six goals past Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend.

After lifting the League Cup at Wembley, Swansea have only managed a single win, at home to Newcastle, in seven matches.

This afternoon, Swansea welcome Manchester City to the Liberty Stadium.

Fifth-placed Tottenham, with Gareth Bale leading the team’s charge, entertain Southampton at White Hart Lane.

Bale, who also claimed the Football Writers’ Award this week, has denied reports that he is planning to join Real Madrid.

At Upton Park, mid-table West Ham play hosts to strugglers Newcastle, still reeling from the nine goals they conceded in their last two home matches.

Wigan, meanwhile, are the nearest side to demoted duo QPR and Reading in the current standings. They travel to West Brom today. The Latics have won eight times at home this season.

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez says he is as anxious as anyone involved in the relegation battle.

Relegation-troubled Aston Villa are coming from a morale-boosting 6-1 win over fellows-in-distress Sunderland.

Today, Villa play at Norwich with captain Ron Vlaar insisting the players are fighting for everyone at the club, knowing the consequences of relegation.
