Roma coach Luis Enrique is hoping to come up with a strategy that will finally bring an end to Juve’s unbeaten start to the season when the sides meet in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals today.

Roma go into the encounter in Turin on the back of Saturday’s 5-1 triumph over Cesena, their fourth straight win in Serie A.

But their form pales in comparison with that of Juve, who won 2-0 at Atalanta to remain one point clear of Milan at the top of the standings and preserve their undefeated record in all competitions.

“The Serie A table says it all,” Enrique said.

“Juve have been very consistent and we haven’t. At the start of the campaign we struggled but we have got better in recent weeks. Juve have proven to be a winning side and we will have to take the initiative.

“It will be an added incentive to know that Juve have yet to lose so far.”

Both clubs have enjoyed much success in the cup down the years with nine victories apiece, and the victors of this tie will face the winner of Thursday’s quarter-final between Milan and Lazio.

Napoli will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-1 draw at Siena when they take on in-form Inter at the San Paolo stadium tomorrow.

Walter Mazzarri’s side have won just two of their last six league games and take on an Inter side who are the cup holders and on a seven-match winning run in the Serie A championship.

Also tomorrow, Chievo and Siena square off at the Bentegodi stadium, with the winner facing either Napoli or Inter.

Neither side has ever won the cup and both go into the encounter on the back of league draws at the weekend.
