The Union Ħaddiema Maqgħudin has condemned the transfer of a number Enemalta employees claiming they lost part of their take-home pay as a result of their move.

Similar complaints were also received from employees who were offered a job with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, workers in Gozo and employees at Enemalta’s fire fighting department, the union said yesterday.

Concerns were also expressed about employees at the generation section who might lose part of their income as a result of an imminent change in the shift system, the UĦM added.

A meeting for all Enemalta employees will be held at its headquarters in Floriana on Thursday.
