Enemalta refers to the article Electricity Surge Fried Residents’ Appliances (July 14).

The corporation understands the frustration of those individuals in the apartment block in question who suffered a surge due to a fault in the network. Our policy is to assess each and every case on its own merit. Compensation is considered for each case individually. Enemalta would also like to comment on the fact that there was no adequate time to reply to the questions posed by the Sunday Times of Malta which arrived at 5pm the day before the article was published.
