Skolasport, organised by Kunsill Malti għall-iSport (KMS) with the support of Kellogg’s, has just concluded its 2011-2012 programme with the end-of-year show at the Cottonera Sports Complex.

The event kicked off with a martial arts demonstration and was followed by dance routines with groups of children from the various Skolasport disciplines. The event wrapped up with a Zumba Party for all the children and their families.

During the presentation of the Kellogg’s sponsorship to KMS Skolasport, Tony Papadoukakis, Kellogg’s Market Development Manager for the Mediterranean, said: “For the past 12 years Kellogg’s has been supporting this project as we believe in its valuable service of developing sport talents among the young Maltese generation.

“Both Kellogg’s and Skolasport share the same goals of promoting a healthy lifestyle through a balanced diet and sports participation.”

For the third year, the Annabelle Vassallo Award for the most committed coach was presented to squash mentor Liz Said by KMS chairman Bernard Vassallo.
