Emirates’ tour operating arm is relaunching in Malta and has appointed ROCS Travel as its preferred sales agent

ROCS Travel is opening a dedicated Emirates Holidays store in St Anne Street, Floriana, to cater to travel trade and direct customers, supported by a call centre.

“Based on their current success within Malta’s travel industry, and essential requirements, ROCS Travel was selected as the preferred partner for our Emirates Holidays brand.

“We welcome the partnership and look forward to capitalising on the growing leisure market potential in Malta,” said vice president Fabio Prestijacopo.

Emirates Holidays said it will initially focus on sales to Dubai, Indian Ocean and the Far East, in particular Thailand, although its global portfolio of packages includes more than 100 destinations that will be available for purchase in Malta.

The brand’s package trips have been sold on the island for the past 15 years through a number of travel agents and the Emirates sales office at the airport.

“We are confident that through the Emirates Holidays collaboration, we will provide the best possible holiday and memorable experiences to our discerning travellers,” said Rachel Vella, ROCS group director.

Emirates operates flights to 148 destinations in 83 countries across six continents.

The airline connects travellers from Malta to more than 100 eastern destinations, including the direct route to Cyprus and onward to its Dubai hub.
