Emcare, the electronic and mobile health services company, has rolled out its e-monitoring services after intensive beta testing.

Its services are aimed at patients suffering from diabetes, asthma and heart conditions who are able to monitor their wellbeing with devices such as a blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter and a glucose metre.

Emcare also operates a round-the-clock care centre for all clients.

A comprehensive package of services offered to the elderly – the ‘safe at home’ package – will be launched shortly.

This package will include devices such as a bed sensor and alerts for bed wetting, extreme temperature, intruders, no motion, and smoke.

Caremalta Group and 6pm plc, the two main shareholders in Emcare, bring with them a wealth of experience in care for the elderly and information technology projects. Its teams have a wide range of experience in IT projects, medical informatics, social policy and entrepreneurship.

As part of its launch campaign, Emcare is offering its service for free, including free installation for people who register for a yearly contract.
