Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta president Ahmed Atif recently visited St Vincent de Paul Residence and presented gifts and food hampers to 150 residents, mostly those who are not visited by anyone.

James Carabott, the hospital’s planning manager, and Kenneth Cremona, who is in charge of entertainment, accompanied Mr Atif as he met the residents.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat said it gives great importance to serving mankind and looking after the elderly.

This activity was a clear manifestation of its love and care for the elderly in society, it said.
