Students at the English-Speaking Union’s Public Speaking Academy, together with the union’s director of education Yvette Micallef (right). The main objective of the academy – which is offered annually to all sixth formers in Malta – is to ensure that post-secondary school students become aware of the importance of effective communication, both in social or personal contexts as well as in professional spheres.
