The first season of Nuna Palk performances for children at the Salesian Theatre will come to a close this month with Land of the Big Word Factory by Theatre Anon.

The company has devised an inventive performance with puppetry, music and live projections. The show presents an imaginary land where all words are produced in a huge word factory. No word may be spoken unless it is bought and swallowed. In this world, the rich get to speak more often and use more powerful words. Poorer people cannot afford to buy these words and must use more common, less effective words, if they can afford any words at all.

In such a setting, a young boy named Phileas  must find his own way of expressing his love for a young girl Cybele.

The play, recommended for children aged over four, is being held today and tomorrow at the Salesian Theatre in Howard Street, Sliema at 6.30pm. For tickets, visit https://tsmalta.com/tickets .
