Parliament rose 50 minutes earlier than usual last night because there were not enough members present.

Government Whip Godfrey Farrugia informed Speaker Anġlu Farrugia the move was necessary because MPs were attending two House committees, others were abroad on business and others were confined to bed. Both sides agreed to call it a day.
