SportMalta and the University SC are currently hosting the 19th edition of the ENAS Forum and Assembly (European Network of Academic Sport Services).

Over 178 delegates from 22 countries and 172 universities are attending this forum with the theme ‘Leadership in Sport – Building a brighter future’.

During the opening session, Chris Agius, the parliamentary secretary for sport, highlighted the government’s efforts and incentives for both youths and adults to further their studies in the field of sports.

He also spoke about the political aspect, particularly the commercialisation of sport facilities and the National Sport Policy which will be launched in the coming weeks.

Michelle Tanner, president of ENAS, explained that the priority of the NGO is to establish a network between sports universities in Europe. She said ENAS organise numerous activities where good practices are shared in order to continue improving the services offered to students.

The forum comes to a close today.
