EC English Language Centres’ Los Angeles school has been awarded the 2018 Japan Best School Award Overall by Ryugaku Journal.

Ryugaku Journal, one of the most prominent and respected agencies in Japan, has presented the awards every year since 2010 to recognise excellence in education. The winners are selected based on feedback received from students recruited by the agency attending various study abroad locations around the world. The adjudication process is based on five key areas: teaching and administrative support, lessons, facilities, accommodation and environment. Awards are presented for the Best School in each category, as well as an award for Best School Overall.

EC Los Angeles opened in 2012 and welcomes thousands of students each year who are drawn to the school because of its excellent reputation, quality facilities, and central location in the sunny Santa Monica area.

EC Los Angeles was also awarded first place in accommodation, and shared third place with EC Toronto in lessons.
