Donkeys have moved into the cathedral as part of the Mdina contemporary art biennale. The 21 life-sized fibreglass Maltese donkeys painted by Maltese and Mediterranean artists symbolise the need for peace in the region. The Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale started yesterday and will continue until January 7.
