Shame on Melita for barring numbers that start with “5” and thus not allowing contract subscribers, like myself, to send donations to charitable institutions such as Puttinu Cares and Community Chest Fund from credit on our mobile phones.

When I contacted them to inquire about the problem the representative who answered said all I could do was purchase a voucher to the desired amount and then phone or send an SMS with as much as I like.

As if we’re not paying through our noses for their services which I must add often leave a lot to be desired. Good thing my contract expires soon.
