Dogs Trust, in collaboration with The Point, Tigné, recently held a ‘Doggy Day’ at Piazza Tigné, with the participation of several NGOs, including SPCA, the Island Sanctuary Organisation and the Abandoned Animals Organisation.

Dogs Trust education officer Moira Delia delivered several workshops, covering topics such as a dog’s needs and responsible dog ownership.

Obedience and agility displays were also held, as well as a dog show where canines competed for titles including ‘Hottest Beach Babe’ and ‘Who’s the Hunk’.

Dogs Trust offered free neutering and micro-chipping for dogs belonging to people receiving social security benefits, farmers, hunters and factory dog owners.
