Recently while in a supermarket I noticed a customer shopping accompanied by a dog, which was not a guide dog.

I was amazed that when I spoke to the manager about the matter, I was told that there was nothing wrong in having a dog in a supermarket.

I could not believe this, so I enquired with the Food Hygiene Department and was told there was no law prohibiting pets from both supermarkets and restaurants. I think it is about time that such a law is introduced.
