A dog breeder has driven his neighbour to file a judicial protest against the Police Commissioner because of barking and fur-clogged drains.
Joseph Galea, who lives in a ground floor apartment on Bwieraq Street, Birkirkara, said German Shepherds were being bred for sale in the flat above his. They barked and caused a lot of noise and their fur was clogging the drains.
He said that despite the police issuing charges, nothing was done to ensure the noise stopped.
If a bar was playing loud music its owners were ordered to stop but in this situation nothing has been done, Mr Galea claimed.
He complained that the apartment used for breeding was small and although he had spoken to its owners about the problems and they promised to help, they continued to do exactly the same.
Mr Galea held the Police Commissioner responsible for any damages.
