What a pity that in another section of the press the divorce issue is being made into a political one. This after the leaders of the two main political parties have said it should not be politicised and one should vote according to conscience. Divorce has nothing to do with politics.

If one is an atheist or a non-believer, one is left with the daunting task of voting according to conscience, taking into consideration the effect divorce would have on children and state welfare services. For us Catholics the task is much simpler: We will be voting for or against our religion and our belief in God.
