The National Commission Persons with Disability is receiving applications for training of staff working with disabled people with challenging behaviour.

The training, for staff members in a supervisory role, is being organised as part of the project Promoting the Social Inclusion of Disabled Persons with Challenging Behaviour, co-financed by the EU’s European Social Fund.

It deals with different forms of challenging behaviour, providing alternative means for communication and self-expression to stem such behaviour and instead promote an attitude conducive to community inclusion through lifelong education and employment.

Applications and additional information can be downloaded from www.knpd.org.

Further information can be obtained by contacting Carmel Bezzina on 2278 8555 or via helpdesk@knpd.org.

Applications will be accepted until June 28.
