Well done to all concerned for redimensioning the traffic island at the top of Dingli Street in Sliema. Rerouting the traffic also seems to be working, having fewer jams at peak hours.

What needs to be done now is some resurfacing. The roads around the same traffic island have taken quite a pounding from the heavy machinery. Potholes and cracked surfaces abound, not to mention the unsightly patches of cement that can be quite slippery when wet.
