I read there is no longer any trust in the police force. This gives much food for thought. How can the people trust a police force when visible wrongdoing is left unpunished and let off with a simple “don’t be a bad boy and don’t do it again”.

How is it possible to have faith in a force where an officer is allowed to sport a Ferrari and live well beyond the means of his salary?

Having investigations and inquiries is in order. But before they are held it is imperative that the suspects be suspended from their duties. In some cases, I feel, such inquiries serve only as a screen, for someone or other to save face.

When a wrongdoer is giving a responsible job, how is it possible for the people to continue to have confidence in the force?
