Dignity Care, the healthcare company launched last September, has put up its first two drop-off service signs at local pharmacies.
Two pharmacies launch service
The company, which focuses on care at home for the elderly, people with disability or people with temporary injuries, launched the drop-off service to make medicine pick-up easier.
Dignity’s drop-off service involves a healthcare professional taking care of all the necessary paperwork for the client, collecting the medicine from the pharmacy, and delivering the medication to the client’s home.
Patients will also benefit from a free care session to ensure the client is taking the necessary steps for optimal health.
Care manager Neville Zammit explained the drop-off service was launched to give clients a holistic healthcare service: it will ease the burden of clients having to take care of collecting the necessary paperwork themselves and having to check when their medication is available.
The service is available at pharmacies with the drop-off sign above the door.
