As part of Emmanuel Delicata’s ongoing customer loyalty scheme, two Diamond Distinction Awards have been presented to two restaurants in Gozo. Between them, they have been selling Delicata wines for an impressive 79 years.

The first award was presented to Vincent Attard of Smugglers Cave Restaurant, which has been working with Delicata since 1970.

This restaurant, well known for its pizzas, also specialises in Mediterranean and Maltese dishes, and enjoys a generous terrace area overlooking the quaint fishing harbour of Marsalforn.

The second award was presented to Jason Vella of the Seaview Bar and Restaurant in Mġarr.

Specialising in seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, Seaview has been a loyal purveyor of Delicata wines since 1979.

Both restaurants were presented with framed certificates of their distinction awards and personalised double magnums of Gran Cavalier Merlot.

To achieve this award, an establishment has to have been selling Delicata wines for 35 years or more. Since its commencement in 2009, the customer loyalty scheme has awarded 61 of its clientele with distinctions – seven ‘specialist’, two bronze, five silver, 21 gold, 22 platinum and four diamond.
