Emmanuel Delicata has just completed a new plantation programme where just over 25,000 new vines were planted in approximately 15 tumoli of land.

The grape varieties planted were Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Moscato vines – three white varieties that Delicata needs most, due to the success of wines they produce such as Gran Cavalier Sauvignon Blanc, Medina Sauvignon Blanc, Grand vin de Hauteville Viognier, Grand vin de Hauteville Moscato and Casella Moscato.

Although these newly-planted vines will produce a limited amount of harvest next year, it will not be until the summer of 2015/2016 that grapes of winemaking quality will be produced.
