She highlighted the friendly business environment, the highly skilled and productive labour force, the incentives package provided by government as well as the efficient tax structure that renders Mata an attractive and competitive manufacturing base.

Information was also provided about the priority economic sectors which have been identified by the Maltese government, namely education, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, ICT, finance, aeronautics, the film industry, creative arts and gaming.

Ms Cutajar highlighted the fact that as a competitive cost base Malta ensures a healthy return on direct investment.

She extended an invitation to the members of the Rotary Club of Delhi Midtown to visit Malta and experience the opportunities and potential that Malta can provide for Indian business companies wishing to tap the European and North African markets.
