The Manoel Theatre will this week be presenting one of the most original, funniest and fun events aimed at all the family, including children aged eight and older.

Decomposed is performed by Classic Mayhem and is a brilliantly moving play told in a very silly way.

It promises to be a children’s show for adults and a grown-up show for children.

This family show takes the audience on a journey through classical music with the odd operatic outburst.

The Stage review stated: “Comedy and classical music rarely marry up, but Classical Mayhem’s 60 minutes of quick-fire hilarity set to extracts from great composers makes for a perfect union. As highly entertaining as it is original.”

The show has sold out wherever it has played. It features identical twins and a soundtrack of great classical music recorded by the world-class London Symphony Orchestra.

Fate has deemed fit to reunite dysfunctional twins: Will, a failing orchestral conductor and control freak, and Igor his smelly doppelgänger. In close proximity after 10 years, the combination of their polar personalities spells trouble. Can Will overcome his own ego and turn his life around to save his brother from turning into a total gaming freak?

• Decomposed is being presented at the Manoel on Saturday and Sunday at 6pm.

Tickets at €7 (child) and €10 (adult) may be obtained by sending an e-mail to bookings@teatrumanoel.com.mt, online at www.teatrumanoel.com.mt or by calling 2124 6389.
