I would like to ask the relevant authorities why doesn’t data protection apply in the referendum?

I am putting forward this enquiry since, during the proceedings of public voting, commissioners are obliged to pass on to the political agents any information relating to the voters, that is, all the personal data of those individuals who for one reason or another abstained from going to the polls.

In the light of this, all this talk about data protection seems to be a farce. I look forward to some enlightenment or comments.
