It has been reported that in the region of Magħtab, off the north coast road, the Ta’ Ħammut Neolithic temple, three dolmens and a Roman tomb at Ta’ Żwejra, near the landfill, have suffered untold damage, due to the activities of hunters and trappers, and now due to ongoing major road works. The entire environment has suffered damage.

We are losing one of our few Stone Age temples on the north coast due to these insensitive activities. And I wonder what can be saved on these sites for the future and for posterity, if not just another memory.
