Forensic tests have confirmed that the body of the man found wedged in a Mellieħa crevice is that of Paul Grech, who had been missing for eight days.

Mr Grech, 47, of Magħtab, was found on October 18 by police officers who searched the area after a passer-by spotted his car parked close to the cliffs in l-Aħrax.

He was killed with one stab wound to the heart and had been reported missing by his family on October 14.

The police yesterday said that DNA tests confirmed it was Mr Grech.

His family said Mr Grech bought a farm in Russia and was setting up a potato business with a Russian man.
